Every mowteng tool

The tools your assistant can call once mowteng is connected, grouped by source. Each entry says what the tool returns, whether it reads or writes, and a question that uses it.

Once mowteng is connected, your assistant can call the tools below. You do not have to use their names: ask in plain language and the assistant picks the tool. The names help when you want a specific one, or when you read the tool calls an assistant shows. All of them run through one MCP URL, https://mowteng.app/mcp; see connect mowteng to your assistant.

Write tools are marked as such, so assistants ask before running them. They add a property, submit or remove a sitemap, or submit URLs. mowteng never edits a site's pages. Search data is fetched live for each request and never stored.

Ask your assistant

List my Search Console properties, then show which pages on the busiest one lost the most clicks in the last 28 days.

Google Search Console

Read and manage your Google Search Console properties. Google connects when you sign in. See Google Search Console MCP server.

gsc_list_sites

Read. The Search Console properties you can access and your permission level on each.

Example: "List my Search Console properties and my permission level on each."

gsc_add_site

Write. Adds a property to Search Console. Ownership must still be verified in Search Console before data appears; see add and verify a site.

Example: "Add https://example.com/ as a property in Search Console."

gsc_search_analytics

Read. Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position grouped by query, page, country, device, date or search appearance. Up to 1,000 rows per call, with paging.

Example: "Show the top 50 queries for my site in the last 28 days with clicks, CTR and position."

gsc_performance_overview

Read. Site totals (clicks, impressions, CTR and impression-weighted average position) and the daily trend for the last N days.

Example: "Give me an overview of my site's performance over the last 90 days."

gsc_inspect_url

Read. Google's index status, last crawl, canonical and rich results for one URL. Uses the property's URL Inspection quota of 2,000 per day.

Example: "Is https://example.com/pricing indexed, and which canonical did Google choose?"

gsc_list_sitemaps

Read. Submitted sitemaps with submitted and indexed counts, errors and warnings.

Example: "List my sitemaps in Search Console and any errors or warnings."

gsc_submit_sitemap

Write. Submits or resubmits a sitemap.

Example: "Resubmit https://example.com/sitemap.xml to Google."

gsc_delete_sitemap

Write. Removes a sitemap from Search Console. Pages already indexed stay indexed.

Example: "Remove the old sitemap https://example.com/sitemap-old.xml from Search Console."

Ready-made analyses

Computed by mowteng from your Search Console data, so one question returns a finished list instead of raw rows. Each has its own page under analyses.

insights_striking_distance

Read. Queries whose average position is 11-20, sorted by impressions: the pages closest to page one. See striking distance keywords.

Example: "Which queries are in striking distance for my site this month?"

insights_cannibalization

Read. Queries where two or more of your pages each take at least 10% of impressions, so they compete with each other. See keyword cannibalization.

Example: "Find queries where my own pages compete with each other."

insights_content_decay

Read. Pages that lost the most clicks, the last N days against the N days before. Pages with fewer than 10 clicks before are skipped. See content decay.

Example: "Which pages lost the most clicks in the last 28 days?"

insights_compare_periods

Read. Any two date ranges by query, page, country or device: totals for each and the biggest changes. See compare date ranges.

Example: "Compare October with September by page and show the biggest changes."

insights_index_audit

Read. Inspects many URLs (a sitemap, a sitemap index or a list) and reports which ones Google has not indexed. Uses the URL Inspection quota of 2,000 per day, with paging. See the index coverage audit and URL Inspection quota.

Example: "Check every URL in my sitemap and tell me which ones Google has not indexed."

insights_google_vs_bing

Read. The same site's queries in Google and Bing: the biggest position gaps and queries that appear in only one engine. Needs Bing connected. Bing data is weekly, so the period is approximate. See Google vs Bing rankings.

Example: "Where do my rankings differ most between Google and Bing?"

Bing Webmaster Tools

Optional and experimental. Connect Bing on the account page. No sites in Bing yet? Bing Webmaster Tools can import them from Google Search Console. See Bing Webmaster Tools MCP server.

bing_list_sites

Read. The sites in your Bing account and whether each is verified.

Example: "Which of my sites are in Bing Webmaster Tools, and are they verified?"

bing_search_stats

Read. Bing search performance: queries, clicks, impressions and positions.

Example: "Show my top Bing queries with clicks and positions."

bing_crawl_issues

Read. URLs Bingbot had trouble crawling, with HTTP code and issue type.

Example: "Which URLs on my site did Bingbot have trouble crawling?"

bing_list_sitemaps

Read. The sitemaps for a site in Bing Webmaster Tools.

Example: "List the sitemaps Bing has for my site."

bing_submit_sitemap

Write. Submits a sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools.

Example: "Submit https://example.com/sitemap.xml to Bing."

bing_submit_urls

Write. Asks Bing to crawl up to 500 URLs now. Uses the site's daily URL submission quota, which depends on the site's age and traffic.

Example: "Ask Bing to crawl the five pages I updated today."

Yandex Webmaster

Optional and experimental. Connect Yandex on the account page. Sites must be added and verified in Yandex Webmaster; see add a site to Yandex Webmaster and Yandex Webmaster MCP server.

yandex_list_sites

Read. Your sites with their host_id and verification state.

Example: "List my sites in Yandex Webmaster and whether each is verified."

yandex_site_summary

Read. Pages in search, excluded pages, site quality index (SQI) and the site problems Yandex reports, by severity.

Example: "Give me the Yandex summary for my site, including any problems Yandex reports."

yandex_search_queries

Read. Popular queries with impressions, clicks and average positions. Yandex keeps a limited history.

Example: "What are my most popular queries in Yandex?"

yandex_list_sitemaps

Read. The sitemaps for a site in Yandex Webmaster.

Example: "List the sitemaps Yandex has for my site."

yandex_submit_sitemap

Write. Submits a sitemap to Yandex Webmaster.

Example: "Submit https://example.com/sitemap.xml to Yandex."

yandex_submit_urls

Write. Asks Yandex to recrawl up to 100 URLs. Uses the daily recrawl quota.

Example: "Ask Yandex to recrawl my homepage and pricing page."

IndexNow

Needs no account, but the site must host a key file: a text file containing only the key. See set up IndexNow and IndexNow from your AI assistant.

indexnow_submit

Write. Tells every IndexNow engine (Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver, Yep, Internet Archive, Amazonbot) about added or changed URLs in one call. Google does not take part.

Example: "Send the three posts I published today to IndexNow."

Account
