Who we are
mowteng is published by Milowda (“we”). Milowda is the brand of Eray Endes, an independent developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. This policy explains what mowteng collects, why, and what you can do about it. Our mobile apps are covered by the Milowda Privacy Policy.
What mowteng is
mowteng is our MCP server at mowteng.app. It lets an AI assistant you choose, such as Claude or ChatGPT, work with your Google Search Console data and, if you connect them, your Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster data. It can also submit URLs you choose through IndexNow.
What it accesses
- Google. When you sign in with Google, mowteng receives your Google account ID and email address, and access to Google Search Console: reading your data, adding properties, and submitting or deleting sitemaps.
- Bing. If you connect Bing, it receives access to your Bing Webmaster Tools data: reading it, and submitting sitemaps and URLs.
- Yandex. If you connect Yandex, it receives access to your Yandex Webmaster data: reading it, and submitting sitemaps and URLs for recrawling.
How it is used
Only to carry out the requests your AI assistant makes on your behalf. Results are returned to the assistant you connected, and that provider’s privacy policy applies to them there.
We do not sell your personal data.
What it stores
Only what keeps you connected, what billing needs and a way to recognise your sites:
- Your connection. Your Google account ID, and your email address and OAuth credentials (a Google refresh token and, if you connect them, a Bing and a Yandex refresh token), encrypted.
- Billing. Your trial end date, your subscription status and renewal or end date, and Paddle’s customer and subscription IDs. mowteng never sees or stores your card details.
- Your sites. To recognise the sites you use with mowteng, it stores a keyed hash of each site’s host name, never the host name itself.
Search data is never stored. Search data, reports and URL lists are fetched live for each request and are never stored.
Operational logs leave out URL query strings and are kept only for our hosting providers’ standard log period.
Google user data
mowteng’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and no person reads it unless you ask us to, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
Service providers
We work with these service providers to run mowteng. Each one only gets the data it needs for its job:
- Cloudflare hosts mowteng and stores the encrypted credentials.
- Vercel forwards Bing Webmaster API requests, because Bing does not accept them from Cloudflare.
- Paddle sells mowteng subscriptions as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details, issues receipts and handles tax, under Paddle’s privacy policy.
- Google, Microsoft and Yandex provide the Search Console, Bing Webmaster and Yandex Webmaster APIs.
- IndexNow (api.indexnow.org) receives the URLs and key you ask mowteng to submit and shares them with every participating search engine.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it. Contact us for the current list of providers.
Where data is processed
The data mowteng stores is kept by our service providers, which may process it outside Türkiye. These providers may process data in the United States. Yandex may process data in Russia.
Retention and deletion
- Sign-ins in your AI assistant expire after 30 days without use.
- A Google, Bing or Yandex connection you no longer use is deleted after 45 days, including one made by signing in on the account page without adding mowteng to an assistant.
- The site hashes are deleted one year after a site was last added, and when you delete your account.
- Billing data is kept while you have a subscription and deleted one year after your trial or subscription ends. Paddle keeps its own order and tax records for as long as the law requires.
- When you delete your account, mowteng keeps only a one-way hash of your Google account ID and the date your free trial ended, for one year, so the trial is not given twice.
Delete everything at once. Choose “Delete account” on the account page (sign in with Google, or ask your assistant to run mowteng_sources for a link to it), or email us. This cancels any subscription, signs out every client, deletes the stored credentials and billing data (except the trial record above), and revokes Google access.
You can also remove mowteng’s access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions and, for Bing, in Bing Webmaster Tools under Settings → API access. For Yandex, remove it in your Yandex ID under Data access.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop processing it. Under KVKK and GDPR you can also complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
mowteng is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
