The symptom
You connected Bing on the account page and asked your assistant about your Bing data. The answer is that there are no sites, or the list is empty. Google Search Console data still works, because Google and Bing are separate sources.
The cause
mowteng reads the sites that exist in your Bing Webmaster Tools account. It does not add them for you. Having a site in Search Console does not put it in Bing automatically, so a brand-new Bing account starts with an empty list. Bing is also still an experimental source in mowteng.
Fix it
- Open Bing Webmaster Tools and sign in with the same Bing account you connected to mowteng.
- If your sites are already verified in Google Search Console, import them from there. Import your sites into Bing has the steps. Otherwise add each site by hand and verify it.
- Check the list inside Bing. Each site should be there and show as verified.
- Ask your assistant for your Bing sites again.

Other causes
- A different Bing account. If the sites live in one account and you connected another, the list will be empty. Disconnect Bing on the account page and connect the right one. Google and Yandex stay connected.
- The site is listed but not verified. Unverified sites show up in the list but give no data until you finish verification in Bing.
- Stats are empty for a new site. A site added today has no search history yet. Bing's data is also reported weekly, so recent days may be missing.
What you get once the sites are there
Ask for bing_search_stats to see queries, clicks, impressions and positions in Bing, and bing_crawl_issues to see URLs Bingbot had trouble crawling, with the HTTP code and issue type.
