What goes on the list
Most daily SEO upkeep is the same few chores: tell search engines about pages you changed, make sure Google has read your latest sitemap, and catch sitemap errors before they pile up. The todo_list tool works these out live, every time you ask, from the sitemaps on your site and the data in your connected consoles. Nothing is stored, so the same day gives the same list.
- Changed pages to submit. Pages whose sitemap date changed since yesterday, ready to send to IndexNow in one call, with Bing and Yandex URL submission as alternatives.
- Sitemaps to resubmit. Sitemaps Google has not read since they changed. See submit a sitemap.
- Sitemap errors. Errors and warnings Search Console reports for your sitemaps, so you fix the file before the next crawl.
- The weekly view adds pages Bing has not crawled since they last changed.
What should I do for example.com today?
Each item names the tool call that does it, so your assistant can run the task when you agree. Engines you have not connected are skipped and listed, so you know what the list could not check.
Nothing is sent without you
todo_list only reads. Submitting URLs or a sitemap is a write action: your assistant shows what it would send and asks first. IndexNow needs a key file on your site; set up IndexNow shows how mowteng makes it for you. If your site already has its own key, tell the assistant to use that key when it submits.
Go through today's list for example.com and send the changed pages to IndexNow.
The list does not remember what you sent earlier in the day. If you already submitted a page today, skip it.
Have it waiting every morning
You do not have to remember to ask. The mowteng_routines tool gives your assistant a ready prompt and a schedule for a daily to-do on weekday mornings, and your assistant's own scheduled tasks run it in claude.ai, Claude Code or ChatGPT. When nothing is due, the routine replies with one line. Scheduled SEO reports covers the weekly and monthly reports that sit beside it.

Why a list instead of a dashboard
A dashboard shows everything and leaves the deciding to you. A to-do list shows only what changed and what to do about it, which is the part that is easy to forget. For a wider look at your numbers once a week, use the weekly SEO check or one of the ready-made analyses.
