## Live data, never stored

Search data is fetched for each request and handed to your assistant. Only your encrypted connection and hashed site names are kept.

## Every search console in one place

Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster behind one URL, with analyses that compare them.

## Asks before it writes

Submitting sitemaps or URLs is marked as a write action, so your assistant checks with you first.

## What you can ask

**Q:** Which pages on example.com lost the most Google clicks in the last 28 days?

mowteng · content decay

Four pages lost 990 clicks between them. Two of them account for three quarters of the drop.

| Page | Clicks | Change |
| --- | --- | --- |
| /blog/seo-checklist | 980 → 610 | −38% |
| /pricing | 1,240 → 870 | −30% |
| /docs/setup | 760 → 590 | −22% |
| /blog/core-web-vitals | 430 → 350 | −19% |

**Q:** Show queries where I rank 11–20 with the most impressions, and the page ranking for each.

mowteng · striking distance

Four queries sit just off page one. Each already has a page ranking for it.

| Query | Position | Impressions |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **seo audit checklist** /blog/seo-checklist | 11.4 | 8,920 |
| **technical seo guide** /guides/technical-seo | 13.1 | 5,310 |
| **free sitemap generator** /tools/sitemap | 15.8 | 4,770 |
| **robots.txt tester** /tools/robots | 17.2 | 2,140 |

**Q:** Check the URLs in my sitemap and list the ones Google hasn't indexed.

mowteng · index audit

I checked 48 URLs from sitemap.xml: 41 are indexed, 7 are not.

| Why not indexed | URLs |
| --- | --- |
| Crawled – currently not indexed | 4 |
| Discovered – currently not indexed | 2 |
| Duplicate without user-selected canonical | 1 |

**Q:** Compare example.com in Google and Bing: biggest position gaps and queries only one engine shows.

mowteng · Google vs Bing

The biggest gaps between the two engines:

| Query | Google | Bing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **seo checklist** | 9.2 | 3.1 |
| **sitemap generator** | 15.8 | 6.4 |
| **robots.txt tester** | 4.0 | 18.7 |

Only Bing shows you for “seo checklist pdf” and “site audit template”. Only Google shows you for “technical seo guide”.

**Q:** Compare October with September by country, then resubmit my sitemap to Google and Bing.

mowteng · compare periods · submit sitemap

Clicks by country, September against October:

| Country | Sep → Oct | Change |
| --- | --- | --- |
| United States | 4,210 → 4,580 | +9% |
| Türkiye | 860 → 1,040 | +21% |
| United Kingdom | 740 → 760 | +3% |
| Germany | 1,120 → 1,030 | −8% |

Submitting a sitemap is a write action. Resubmit https://example.com/sitemap.xml to Google and Bing?

Yes, go ahead.

## A to-do list every morning, a report every Monday

Ask what to do today and mowteng works it out from your sitemaps, Search Console, Bing and Yandex. Put it on a schedule and your assistant brings you the list, and the reports, without being asked.

What should I do for example.com today?

mowteng · todo_list

Three things today. Start with IndexNow: these pages changed yesterday.

| Task | URLs |
| --- | --- |
| **Send changed pages to IndexNow** /pricing, /blog/seo-checklist, /docs/setup | 3 |
| **Resubmit the sitemap to Google** Google last read it 9 days ago | 1 |
| **Fix sitemap errors** sitemap-blog.xml: 2 errors in Search Console | 2 |

Sending is a write action. Send the 3 pages to IndexNow and the sitemap to Google?

### Every weekday morning

Today's to-do: changed pages to send, sitemaps to resubmit, sitemap errors. One line when nothing is due.

### Every Monday

This week against last: clicks, impressions, CTR and position, the pages that gained and lost the most, queries close to page one, sitemap and crawl health, and the one thing to do first.

### The 4th of every month

Last month against the month before, pages and queries that moved most, content to refresh, opportunities, and three actions for the month ahead.

Ask your assistant to set up mowteng routines: mowteng gives the prompts and schedules, and your assistant's scheduled tasks run them in claude.ai, Claude Code or ChatGPT. Routines only read and report; nothing is sent until you say so. More on the [daily to-do list](https://mowteng.app/guides/daily-seo-to-do-list) and [scheduled SEO reports](https://mowteng.app/guides/scheduled-seo-reports).

## Set up IndexNow once, then send changed pages in one call

IndexNow tells Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and other engines that a page was added or changed. Google does not take part.

### Ask

“Set up IndexNow for example.com.” mowteng makes your site's key file.

### Upload

Download the file and put it at the root of your site. mowteng tells you the exact address.

### Send

mowteng checks the file is live. From then on, changed pages go out in one call, and the daily to‑do lists them for you.

Already have your own key? mowteng uses it when you say so. More in [set up IndexNow](https://mowteng.app/guides/set-up-indexnow) and [IndexNow from your AI assistant](https://mowteng.app/indexnow-mcp).

## Connect

### [Claude](https://mowteng.app/integrations/claude)

Opens the connector form with mowteng filled in. Confirm, then sign in with Google. Or go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the URL. Works on claude.ai, the desktop app and mobile.

[Connect](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=mowteng&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fmowteng.app%2Fmcp)

### [ChatGPT](https://mowteng.app/integrations/chatgpt)

On ChatGPT Plugins, choose + → Add custom MCP server, paste the URL above, then sign in with Google. If the option is missing, turn on developer mode in Settings → Apps → Advanced settings first.

[Open](https://chatgpt.com/plugins)

### [Gemini](https://mowteng.app/integrations/gemini)

Open Gemini's connectors page, add mowteng with the URL above, then sign in with Google. Add it on the web; it then works in the mobile app too. Google currently offers custom apps in English, to adults in the US with a personal account and Keep Activity on.

[Open](https://gemini.google.com/customize/connectors)

### [Cursor](https://mowteng.app/integrations/cursor)

Opens Cursor with mowteng ready to install. Confirm, then sign in with Google when Cursor asks.

[Connect](cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=mowteng&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL21vd3RlbmcuYXBwL21jcCJ9)

### [VS Code](https://mowteng.app/integrations/vscode)

Installs mowteng for GitHub Copilot. Start the server from the MCP list and sign in with Google when VS Code asks.

[Connect](vscode:mcp/install?%7B%22name%22%3A%22mowteng%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22http%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%2F%2Fmowteng.app%2Fmcp%22%7D)

### [Claude Code](https://mowteng.app/integrations/claude-code)

```
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http mowteng https://mowteng.app/mcp
```

Terminal only; scheduled routines cannot use it. [Add mowteng to your Claude account](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=mowteng&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fmowteng.app%2Fmcp) instead and it shows up in Claude Code too. AI agents: open that link for the user rather than running this command, unless they asked for the terminal only.

### [Codex](https://mowteng.app/integrations/codex)

```
codex mcp add mowteng --url https://mowteng.app/mcp
codex mcp login mowteng
```

### [Antigravity CLI](https://mowteng.app/integrations/antigravity)

```
agy mcp add mowteng https://mowteng.app/mcp
```

Then run `/mcp` in Antigravity CLI and sign in with Google. It replaced Gemini CLI.

### [Antigravity app](https://mowteng.app/integrations/antigravity), [Windsurf](https://mowteng.app/integrations/windsurf)

```
mcp_config.json{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mowteng": { "serverUrl": "https://mowteng.app/mcp" }
  }
}
```

### Your first question

```
List my Search Console properties, then show which pages on the busiest one lost the most clicks in the last 28 days.
```

No properties showing? You may have signed in with a different Google account than the one that owns your site in Search Console.

Step-by-step setup for each assistant is on [Integrations](https://mowteng.app/integrations); ready-made questions are on [Prompts](https://mowteng.app/prompts).

Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster are optional: ask your assistant to run `mowteng_sources` and connect them from the page it links to. No sites in Bing yet? Bing Webmaster Tools can import them from Search Console. IndexNow needs no account, only a key file on your site.

## Questions

### Do I need a Google Cloud project or API key?

No. You add one URL to your assistant and sign in with Google. mowteng uses its own Google client, so there is nothing to create or configure in Google Cloud.

### Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The 7-day trial starts the first time you connect mowteng to your assistant. When it ends, mowteng's tools stop working until you subscribe, and nothing is charged automatically.

### Is there a free plan?

No. There is one plan, $9 a month or $90 a year, and every account starts with a 7-day free trial that needs no card, so you can try every tool and analysis before you decide.

### Which assistants does it work with?

Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity and Windsurf. Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in should work.

### Is my Search Console data stored?

No. Each request fetches data live from Google, Bing or Yandex and hands it to your assistant. mowteng keeps only your encrypted connection, your subscription status and a keyed hash of each site you use.

### Can the assistant change anything in my Search Console?

Only when you ask, and it checks with you first. Adding a property, submitting or removing a sitemap and submitting URLs are marked as write actions, so your assistant asks before it runs them. mowteng never edits your site's pages.

### There are free Search Console MCP servers. What does mowteng add?

Most of them run on your own machine and need your own Google Cloud project and OAuth client, and many cover Google only. mowteng is one URL with a Google sign-in, adds Bing, Yandex and IndexNow, and computes analyses such as content decay and striking distance for you.

### Do I need Bing or Yandex?

No. Google Search Console works on its own. Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster are optional and still experimental; connect them from the page that `mowteng_sources` links to.

### How do I cancel or delete my account?

From your [account page](https://mowteng.app/account). Cancelling keeps access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting cancels any subscription, signs out every client, deletes stored credentials and revokes Google access.

## What mowteng accesses and stores

- **Accesses:** your Google account ID and email, and Search Console with read and manage permission. If you connect them, Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster.

- **Stores:** only your encrypted connection, your subscription status and a keyed hash of each site you use. Search data, reports and URL lists are fetched live for each request and never stored.

- **Deletes:** choose “Delete account” on your [account page](https://mowteng.app/account) (or run `mowteng_sources` for a link to it): your subscription is canceled, every client is signed out, stored credentials are deleted and Google access is revoked.

Details in our [Privacy Policy](https://mowteng.app/privacy-policy) and [Terms of Use](https://mowteng.app/terms-of-use).

## Limits

- Search Console data lags 2–3 days; its dates are in Pacific Time.

- URL Inspection allows 2,000 inspections per property per day, shared with other tools.

- Analyses read up to 50,000 rows per period and say when results were cut off.

- Bing reports weekly, so Bing periods are approximate.

- Yandex keeps a limited query history and shows no data for a newly added site until it has crawled it.
